Adding your stock

Add a unit

1. 1Go to Stock and choose Add unit.
2. 2Pick the category, make and model, and fill in the year, price and stock number.
3. 3Add photos, then choose Add unit to save.

Import a stock list

1. 1Save your stock list as a CSV file (in Excel or Google Sheets: File → Save as / Download → CSV).
2. 2Go to Settings → Data export / import and choose Import inventory.
3. 3Upload the file. Forekort shows every row and flags any problems before anything is saved.
4. 4Check the preview, then confirm.

If a row has the same stock number as a unit you already have, that unit is updated rather than added twice, so you can import again whenever your list changes.

Stock types and makes

Forekort starts with stock types for bikes, cars and utes, boats, caravans, trailers, mowers and farm machinery, and the makes Australian dealers sell. Add, rename or remove them in Settings → Stock types & makes.
